KC-135E Stratotanker v1.73
for FS2002/FS2004
by Rok Dolenec

----------------------------------

INSTALLATION
----------------------------------
Just unzip to "...\FlightSim\Aircraft" directory.

Virtual cockpit
----------------------------------
This aircraft has a virtual cockpit, but if you want to see any instruments in it, you have to install a custom panel (or copy one of the default panels -- you have to have a complete panel.cfg file, not just an aliased one) and then edit the panel.cfg file in
"...\FS2002\Aircraft\kc135e\panel" dir. Copy the text from "v_panel.cfg" that's in that dir to your panel.cfg (examine one of default panel.cfgs, like B777_300 panel.cfg to see where exactly -- important part is the [VCockpit01] section).
If panel.cfg already has a [VCockpit01] section, you must delete it first, or rename [VCockpit01] from v_panel.cfg to [VCockpit0*], where * = lowest number not used yet.
And of course you should make a BACKUP copy FIRST.
I also included an example: "panel_747.cfg". It is a default B747 panel with VCockpit already copied in. To use it, copy all files from ...\aircraft\b747_400\panel to ...\aircraft\kc135e\panel and rename panel_747.cfg to panel.cfg.

Replacement model that removes VC is available at my website.

Version info
----------------------------------
v1.73: texture now supports "Refueling boom extended" version
v1.72: added two visible strobe lights
v1.7: chaged tail, boom and nose markings; gear, wing lites and engine fan textures (again thanks to Charles A Grimes) and removed the PDI lights
v1.6: corrected the ailerons, flaps settings more realistic, added rotating beacon (thanks to Charles A Grimes), many flight dynamics changes,...
v1.3: Now it also has an extendable refuling boom (not fully, but it's the best I could do). It's extended with "Extend Concorde nose & visor fully" command and retracted with "Retract Concorde nose & visor fully", which are not set by default so you have to set them yourself. I use "SHIFT + ," and ",".
I also added more lights, engine fans and tweaked flight dynamics a little.

KC-135E Stratotanker v1.73 aditional models
for FS2002/FS2004
by Rok Dolenec
e-mail: p00pek@email.si
----------------------------------

INSTALLATION
----------------------------------
Requires "kc135e_v1.73.zip".
Unzip to "...\FlightSim\Aircraft\kc135e" directory and overwrite old files (create backup first?).

Version info
----------------------------------
There are three aditional KC-135E models in this package:
-model without virtual cockpit
-model with refuelig boom fully extended all the time
-model with refuelig boom fully extended all the time and without virtual cockpit

"No virtual cockpit" version is for the people who are using this plane with a panel that has side views so that parts of the plane don't interfere with the panel.
And the "refueling boom fully extended" version is here because I could not find a way to fully animate the boom in default version. You may use this model to improvise multiplayer or AI refueling.

Just find the combination that you like the most and enjoy flying it!
